Deposit reserves your animal for early November 2025 processing!
Half Beef cost is $3.25 per pound of live weight plus harvest fee ($125). Deposit reserves your animal. Final cost is based on one half of the animals live weight at time of harvest (animal will weigh a total of 1,200 - 1,400 pounds). Balance and harvest fee are due when animal is harvested.
Animal will be processed at Freedom Meat Locker in Watsonville, CA. Buyer is responsible for all fees relating to processing animal. Processing fees are paid directly to the processor. Additional fees may apply. Please see How it Works.
Buyer is responsible for picking up cut, wrapped, frozen meat from Freedom Meat Locker.
Please note that with a half beef purchase you will not be able to keep the heart, liver, tongue, tail, and or leaf fat.
Half Beef Deposit
Animal is sold live and will be delivered directly to the processing facility. Final cost is based on live weight at delivery + harvest fee. You will be notified when animal is ready for harvest. Butcher will contact you directly prior to processing to go over cut sheet. Processing fees are paid directly to the butcher.
Once harvested, the animal will hang for a minimum of 14 days before being cut, wrapped, and frozen. Butcher will notify you when meat is ready for pick up. Buyer is responsible for picking up cut, wrapped, and frozen meat directly from butcher.
Standard shipping is not available. Local pick up only from processing facility.
