About

Daisha Donham and Addie Hain founded DAddie’s Beef after years of “scheming” as our husbands liked to call it!
 

We met when we became neighbors and we quickly became friends, both sharing a love for horses, ranching, and pedro games. We’d help each other with cattle work and talk about our dreams of becoming full time cowgirls and staying home with our babies. We often talked about feeding out cattle. Some days we wanted to raise bulls... We came up with lots of ways to leave our 9-5s and stay home with our kids (this was the scheming our husbands joked with us about) but it always seemed to come back to finishing cattle, driven by how deeply we both cared about feeding our families quality protein. We had big dreams but the timing just wasn’t right. 

Finally, everything seemed to fall into place and we took our leap of faith. DAddie’s Beef was born. We both care deeply about ranching and providing quality, wholesome food for our families. We are so proud to offer homegrown, quality protein straight from our family ranches for you to enjoy.

Hi!!

I'm Addie - wife, mother, former teacher, and rancher.

 

I grew up on a ranch in Tres Pinos and was very involved in 4-H, FFA, rodeo, and sports.  Growing up it was always my dream to have my own herd of cattle.  Shortly after my husband Marc and I married, we bought our own cows.  Over the past 13 years, we have grown our cow calf herd and now have cows on ranches in Tres Pinos and Paicines.

Marc and I have two children, Jack and Jenna.  They play many different sports, are involved in 4-H, rodeo, and have a small herd of their own.  Because I was so busy with the kids, their activities, and the ranches, I decided to quit my job and become a full-time mom and rancher and grow DAddie's beef with Daisha.  And I have loved every minute of it!!

Hi Friends!

 

I am Daisha, proud co-owner of DAddie's Beef. I live in Paicines, CA with my husband, John Henry, and our son. Our second son will be here Spring 2025! My husband manages ranches here and we are fortunate to run our own herd of cattle.

I have always loved horses and competed in junior and high school rodeo growing up. I attended Cal Poly SLO where I rodeoed for a couple years before focusing on my Animal Science and Ag Business degrees. After graduating I started a career in ag lending.

DAddie's Beef has given me the opportunity to do everything that I love every single day!

Our Cattle

We are proud to offer homegrown animals raised and cared for daily by our family. Our cattle are closely monitored to maintain their health and ensure their quality of life so that we can offer the highest quality meat.

All of our cattle are homegrown, born and raised on our home ranches in Tres Pinos and Paicines, CA. Cattle spend their entire lives on pasture and are finished on grain for a minimum of 4 months.

Beef is aged a minimum of 14 days after it’s harvested and processed locally.

 

We are currently taking deposits for beef ready July 2025. Next available will be approximately November 2025.
